Einer meiner absoluten Lieblingskollektionen dieses Jahres ist von Jil Sander. Lange, bunte Kleider - unifarben oder geblümt -, die wallend uns den Sommer versüßen. Doch nicht nur die farbenfrohen Entwürfe sind besonders, mein absolutes Lieblingsteil ist das schwarz-weiße Kringelkleid, dass sich mit dieser strengen Frisur und den knallpinken Lippen wirklich gut macht. Und noch ein besonderes Teil gibt es in dieser Kollektion: Am letzten Bild trägt das Model die rote Plastiktüte, die als neues It-Piece gehandelt wird!

One of my absolute favourites this year is the collection by Jil Sander. Long, colored dresses - plain colored or flowered - which sweeten our summer with their wavy attitude. But not only the colorful pieces are special: I felt in love with the black and white loopdress seen at the catwalk with this severe hairstyle and the bright pink lips - very nice, very hot!
And there is another clou in this collection: The model on the last picture wears the red plastic bag which is dealed for a new It-piece.

Schumacher - Hommage to Ré Soupault

Die Künstlerin Ré Soupault (1901 – 1996) ist bekannt durch ihre Arbeiten als Fotografin, Journalistin, Filmemacherin und Modeschöpferin. In den 20er Jahren entwarf sie ein Transformationskleid, das für das Büro, den Cocktailempfang oder die Abendgala tauglich sein sollte. Schumacher kreirte nun als Hommage an die Künstlerin solch ein Transformationskleid - All in One!

The artist Ré Soupault (1901 - 1996) is well known through her woork as a photographer, journalist, film maker and fashion designer. In the 1920s she created a transformation dress which should be for the office, for a cocktail evening or a gala. Schumacher designed now a dress as a hommage to the artist - All in One!

Der junge und sehr ambitionierte Tim Labenda zeigt in seiner aktuellsten Kollektion Männermode vom Feinsten. "Welten Bummler" kleidet die Herren in Strick, Stoffhosen und vorallem die wirklich fantasievollen Jacken sind meine absoluten Lieblinge. Labenda kreirt leider hauptsächlich Male Fashion, in einigen seiner früheren Arbeiten schneidert er allerdings auch für Frauen z.B. diesen fabelhaften Jumpsuit mit Korsage, den ihr auf seiner Homepage sehen könnt. Generell kann man die Entwürfe in der Kollektion "Welten Bummler" aber auch sehr gut als Unisex-Teile ansehen. Auch die Stiefel, die ihr oben sehen könnt - Einfach, aber besonders. Understatement in seiner schönsten Perfektion!

The young and very ambitioned designer Tim Labenda shows us in his latest collection Male Fashion in perfection. "Welten Bummler" suits men in wools, fabric trousers and specially the truly visionary jackets are my favourites. Unfortunately Labenda creates Male Fashion in main, nevertheless there are some Female designs for example the amazing jumpsuit with a corsage - seen on his homepage. In General all pieces of his latest collection are Unisex. Absolutely notably are the boots which are shown above - elementary but special. Understatement in his ultimate perfection.

Carven - Alles auf Anfang/ A New Beginning

Nicht ganz. Das Modehaus Carven gibt es schon seit 1945, doch erst seit Kurzem gibt es unter Kreativdirektor Guillaume Henry auch ein Revival der Pret-á-Porter-Linie. Schöne klare aber doch feminine Entwürfe zu echt netten Preisen - Jacken gibt es ab ca. EUR 400,--, Röcke ab ca. EUR 300,--. In Paris hat ausserdem ein Carven-Store eröffnet, der gerade mit den Teilen der aktuellen Sommerkollektion bestückt wird - also Parisreisende: Auf in die 36, Rue Saint Sulpice...

Barely. The label Carven started in 1945, but since Guillaume Henry is the creativ director the Pret-à-Porter collection has a revival. Nice, easy but also feminine styles which are really affordable. Jackets from EUR 400,-- or Skirts from EUR 300,--. Furthermore there opened the first Carven-store in Paris which is already full with new pieces of the summer collection - so dear Parispassenger: Let´s go in 36, Rue Saint Sulpice...

Exhibition Magazine - The Lipstick Issue

Ein neues Magazin gibt es auf dem Markt und zwar das Exhibition Magazine, das auf den Pariser Haute Couture-Schauen im Jänner gelauncht wurde. Jede Ausgabe des neuen Magazines wird sich um ein Produkt drehen und jeder, der mich kennt, weiss, dass die erste Ausgabe bei mir mitten ins Rote trifft: Es handelt sich um die Lipstick Issue. Also, ich geh´s mir heute noch besorgen.

There is a new magazine and it is called Exhibition Magazine which was launched at the Parisian Haute Couture in January. Every issue of the magazine is dedicated to a special product or object. And everybody who knew me knows that the first one captured my heart: It is the Lipstick Issue. So I am gonna get it right now.

Marc Jacobs - Cafe In New York

Ich weiss, langsam sollte ich mich mal vom Thema Marc Jacobs wegbewegen, aber was kann denn ich dafür, wenn er immer wieder was Neues macht? Diesmal: Er eröffnet ein Cafe/Restaurant in New York! Das ist allerdings nicht sein erster Coup in Sachen Gastronomie, denn es gibt bereits ein Jacobs-Lokal in Mailand. Eröffnung des New Yorker-Ladens soll in diesem Frühling sein, ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden wegen Adresse und aktuellen Fotos. Wie das neue Baby nämlich genau ausschauen bzw. schmecken soll, ist noch nicht bekannt, aber das neonbeleuchtete Mailänder Cafe verspricht so einiges...

I know, I should take a step back from all these Marc Jacobs stuff I adore but what can I do if he always has a new coup to present? This time: He opens a cafe/restaurant in New York! But that's not his first step in the gastronomy, because he already has a Jacobs restaurant in Milan. Opening of the New York restaurant will be this spring – I keep you updated regarding the address and pictures. Because how the new baby will look or taste is not known until now but the crazy neon-colored Cafe in Milan promises us a lot...

Mac - I Am A Wonder Woman

Mac Cosmetics hat wieder mal eine Special Edition. Während die letzten zwar immer ganz nett waren, aber wegen den Farben meistens nie was für mich, gibt es jetzt eine, die es mir wirklich angetan hat: Die Mac Wonder Woman-Kollektion für Frühling 2011. Neben den echt tragbaren Lippenstift- und Lipgloss-Farben, gibt es auch Wimperntusche in vier verschiedenen Farben - ich überlege mir gerade die Grüne mir zuzulegen... Auch die drei Lidschattenvariationen in Violett, Grün und Blau sind echt alltagstauglich. Und über die großartige Poppigkeit der Sachen brauchen wir ja gar nicht zu reden. Also nichts wie hin zum nächsten Mac-Laden!

Mac Cosmetics has a new special edition. The last ones were not so much for me because of the difficult colors but this one can be my new favourite: The Mac Wonder Woman Collection for Spring 2011. Besides the really wearable lipstick and lipgloss colors will there be also four various mascaras - I really like the green one...Also the three eye shadow variations are really suitable for daily use. And of course there is no need to talk about the great trendy style of the things in this collection. So let´s go to the next Mac shop!
